Biotium ViaFluor 405 SE Cell Proliferation Kit (10 vials, 1000 assays)
ViaFluor SE Cell Proliferation Kits use non-toxic, amine-reactive dyes to covalently label cells throughout the cell cytoplasm and intracellular compartments. Cell proliferation dyes are commonly used to monitor cell division by flow cytometry. The dyes also can be used to stably label cells to image cell morphology, or to track cell populations in mixed co-culture experiments. Labeling is covalent, so it withstands fixation and permeabilization for subsequent immunostaining. This kit contains ViaFluor 405 SE which has an excitation/emission of 408/452 nm. The kit contains 10 lyophilized dye vials. Each vial is sufficient for 20 uL of 5000X stock solution.
Biotium Live-or-Dye™ Staining Kit 488/515 50 Assays
Live-or-Dye™ Fixable Viability Staining Kits are cell membrane impermeable amine-reactive dyes designed for discrimination between live and dead cells during flow cytometry. The dyes are able to enter into dead cells that have compromised membrane integrity and covalently label free amines on intracellular proteins. The dye labeling is extremely stable, allowing the cells to be fixed and permeabilized without loss of fluorescence or dye transfer between cells. The Live-or-Dye™ staining protocol has been optimized to maximize live/dead discrimination with minimal live cell staining, in order to prevent interference with immunostaining. Live-or-Dye™ Fixable Viability Stains are dead cell specific in all cell types, including mammalian cells, bacteria and yeast. Live-or-Dye™ 488/515 is suitable for excitation by 488 nm laser line. This trial size kit has sufficient reagent for 50 assays.

Biotium Live Bacterial Gram Stain Kit - 800 assays
The Live Bacterial Gram Stain Kit contains wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) conjugated to CF594 to stain the surface of gram-positive cells with red fluorescence. The kit also includes DAPI to stain all bacteria. Wheat germ agglutinin binds specifically to N-acetylglucosamine in the peptidoglycan layer of gram-positive bacteria. CF594 is spectrally similar to Texas Red, but with brighter fluorescence. The kit also includes DAPI to stain the DNA of all bacteria with blue fluorescence. Gram-positive bacteria stained using this kit will show a fluorescent blue interior and fluorescent red cell surface, while gram-negative bacteria will be stained with blue fluorescence only. This kit contains sufficient reagent for 800 assays.
